Duties

As an
IT Project Manager, you will:

  • Determine appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables; develop, modify, or provide input to project plans; implement project plans to meet objectives; coordinate and integrate project activities; manage, lead, or administer project resources.
  • Participate in change control (e.
g., reviewing configuration change requests plans and procedures); conduct IT strategic planning and project management activities in the areas of project management, capital planning, facilitate teams in conducting analyses, developing goals, objectives, and strategies, and in other strategic, tactical, and business planning activities.

  • Distribute information as necessary to key project stakeholders.
Prepare and present status reports and briefings to senior management and customers on project progress, timelines, resources, and deliverables.

  • Participate in HUD and OCIO and Ginnie Mae task forces and working groups to implement Agency and government wide standards and to develop and share best practices in IT project management.
