As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software/firmware for our state-of-the-art medical devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, regulatory-compliant firmware solutions that meet the needs of clinical laboratory environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in embedded software/firmware development, preferably in medical device or regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and familiarity with embedded systems development tools (e.g., compilers, debuggers).
  • Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS), hardware/software interfaces, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and Agile software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC for medical device development is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
