Position Overview:

They are in search of a Senior Embedded Engineer to contribute to their expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the conception, development, and validation of embedded software tailored for medical devices.

Your leadership will guide a skilled team of engineers, offering technical direction and fostering innovation throughout the product development process. Your expertise will guarantee that the products align with regulatory standards, are resilient, and provide outstanding performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software for medical devices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers in technical aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of proven experience in embedded software and firmware development, particularly in regulated industries such as medical devices, automotive, or aerospace.
  • Strong command of programming languages, particularly C/C++, for embedded systems.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and hardware/software integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, including Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and making technical decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA regulations) is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
