As part of our ongoing efforts to build, maintain and optimize our customer's fiber network, we are in search of talented individuals with expertise in aerial and underground fiber installation and maintenance.

Essential Functions Of The Position

Responsible for compiling and delivering all necessary reports and deliverables to your supervisor. Ensure the cleanliness of the splicing lab and equipment and conduct regular inspections and calibrations to keep equipment up to dateSplice fiber optic or coaxial cable strands precisely to ensure seamless connectivity and minimal signal loss.Terminate cables by attaching connectors to the ends of fiber optic cables, ensuring proper connectivity and signal transmissionConduct tests to verify the integrity and quality of spliced fibers, troubleshoot connectivity issues and identify faults in the network. Maintain accurate records of all splicing and termination activities, including cable routes, splice locations, and test results, to facilitate future maintenance and repairs. Strictly adhere to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Collaborate with technicians and project managers to coordinate installation and maintenance activities effectively. Ensure the cleanliness of the splicing lab and equipment and conduct regular inspections and calibrations to keep equipment up to date.Requirements Must be able to lift pounds Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation Travel is required Verifiable business references are required Benefits Medical insurance, including dental and vision Paid vacation and holidays Per Diem paid weekly Opportunity for growth and advancement
