Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Experienced Telecom Installation Specialist who has a positive attitude, ability to problem solve, and is highly customer service oriented. This role requires a current 06 or 01 License. A solid work ethic with an emphasis on quality workmanship and organization is also a must. This role is required to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of low-voltage wiring, network equipment in buildings, and installing microwave radio equipment on rooftops.
  • Managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence.
  • Attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time.
  • Customer infrastructure, router, and wireless equipment installations.
  • Low Voltage Cabling rough-in and termination.
  • Low Voltage Cabling testing and documentation.
  • Build-out of MDF and IDF (racks, patch panels, wire managers, network electronics, etc.).
  • MPOE and CPE integration, cutover, and connection within building demarcation point.
  • Installation and on-site configuration/setup of equipment including radios, routers & switches, security cameras, etc.
  • On-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Current 06 License required.
  • Ability to lift and carry upwards of 50lbs, climb ladders, and work at various heights while successfully performing job duties.
  • Ability to work in occasionally adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to pull wire, use common hand tools, terminate Ethernet/Coax cabling, and operate power tools.
  • Fiber cabling experience a bonus.
