We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at South Oaks Hospital, where you will be working with adolescent patients in an inpatient setting. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, psychotherapeutic interventions, and research in accordance with IRB guidelines and approvals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for adolescent patients.
- Implement DBT as the primary treatment modality and lead groups in the milieu, while maintaining an individual case load.
- Provide supervision and support to inpatient clinical staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Evaluate patient care and outcomes, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring adherence to department and hospital policies.
- Document patient interventions and maintain accurate records, adhering to department and hospital procedures.
- Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Ph.D. in Psychology required.
- Current License to practice as a Psychologist in New York State, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an inpatient adolescent setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
Northwell Health offers a competitive salary range of $75,020.01-$126,250.02 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
