Talkspace is seeking a mission-driven Product Manager to help drive and support our rapidly growing health plan and enterprise ecosystem. In this role, you'll be a key Product Manager on the Platform pod that supports integrations and processes for our behavioral health partners and employee assistance programs, including things like: eligibility, claims, revenue cycle management, and infrastructure work for our core Member user flows. The ideal person for this role loves working at the intersection of product, engineering, design, business, and account management to solve challenging problems and build scalable solutions.
*This is a remote position based on Eastern Time. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC*
What You'll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of the healthcare payer and EAP ecosystems, including eligibility requirements, claims processing and payments, revenue cycle management, and all their related integrations and touch-points with Talkspace.
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of your users' needs, including internal stakeholders in Talkspace and external partners, such as America's major health plans and insurance companies. Notably, you'll frequently join calls with our external partners to gather, scope, and refine requirements. You'll be a key technical voice in these discussions.
- Help set strategy and build focus on the right opportunities, collaborating closely with the Product Lead that oversees the Platform pod.
- Support the refinement of product roadmap and set feature priorities through data-driven and user-centric considerations.
- Create requirement documents that will include user stories and acceptance criteria for new products and features.
- Lead investigations of failed or rejected claims and prioritize claims issues based on volume, via complex database querying.
- Work hands-on with a cross-functional team to design, develop, test, and release product changes, ensure effective solutions.
About You
- You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a strong desire to own a product roadmap.
- You love the craft of Product Management, e.g. building things that delight users in hard-to-copy, margin-enhancing ways.
- You love getting technical, delving into process flows and understanding how the system is functioning. You enjoy querying data and analyzing it. You also have familiarity with complex platform integrations and workflow automation.
- You've helped develop a product strategy and have an internal playbook for how to pinpoint the right opportunities and translate them into strategic product initiatives and user stories.
- You have relevant experience in the healthcare industry, especially with claims processing, internal operations, and payment services.
- You possess a clear and engaging communication style with a track record of building positive relationships across a broad, diverse organization.
- You are adept at agile methodologies and taking an iterative approach to product lifecycle management.
- You have a history of balancing quantitative data against intuition in product decision-making and successes.
- You value a culture of inclusion and empathy.
- You feel a passion for Talkspace's mission – to improve the therapy experience for providers and their clients and simplify access to care.

Compensation
At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.
The base salary range for this role is between $120,000.00 and $150, Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate's relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
