THE ROLE

As the RV Sales for North America at Indie Campers you will be part of the RV sales department with the goal of overseeing the B2C and B2B sales flow, build the commercial roadmap for the region and build the RVS team in North America.

Based in our LA HQ this person will report directly to the North America General Manager and collaborate with the Field Ops, Logistics, CE, Marketing on a day to day basis.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will be responsible for driving sales of Indie Campers leisure vehicles (campervans and motorhomes) as a key part of our new RV Sales business unit, covering the full scope of the North American market.

You will act as the sales leader of this new business unit for the US and Canadian markets, where you will be expected to focus on identifying the opportunities, designing a long-term, sustainable, and reliable strategy for the sale of our own current fleet of hundreds of vehicles and several thousand more from 2023 onward.

Primarily, you will ensure the reselling of Indie Campers world class vehicles in North America, including both through direct-to-consumer models, third-party dealership networks and other third-party channels (e.g. auction platforms). Additionally, you will need to build productive relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, driving sales results, delivery excellence, and customer experience across all states Indie Campers is currently operating in.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To build from scratch the leading leisure vehicles marketplace on a commission based role joining the most innovative direct to consumer RV Sales platform we are looking for someone with the following set of skills:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience driving RV sales across multiple geographies OR track record of driving automotive sales within a high-growth company, ideally covering both online/offline sales and multiple geographies;
  • Experience in selling consumer credit is a strong plus;
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments;
  • CRM Experience;
  • Experience engaging with customers and external partners at multiple levels;
  • Network within OEMs, dealership and/or consumer credit companies;
  • Needs to have a commercial mindset and communication skills aligned;
  • Flexible, hard-working, team management and business development skills;
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written) is mandatory, with Spanish being a plus;
