Job Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is one of the fasting growing businesses for the company. In OCI Finance, team members are responsible for all aspects of cloud infrastructure financial planning. We are a partner and trusted strategic adviser to the OCI Leadership team, advising on optimizing business economics while rapidly scaling.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, working on a variety of special projects that are critical to OCI's success. You will leverage your financial acumen and analytical skills to conduct research, develop solutions, and drive project completion from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities include
  • Partner with various stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines for special finance initiatives across capacity and datacenter planning
  • Conduct analysis and define metrics to drive opportunities across the portfolio
  • Research and identify industry best practices relevant to project objectives
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance finance processes and systems
  • Capable of leveraging the larger Oracle Financial community effectively, gather and analyze information and resolve business issues across the organization
  • Financial presentations to the business/finance leadership, preparation of detailed analysis, summarize key findings and recommendations
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Finance, Operations, and business teams

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years finance experience; MBA Preferred
  • Knowledge of Cloud Technology and Infrastructure and/or experience supporting engineering preferred but not required
  • Strong finance acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent financial modeling and data analysis skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,000 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
