Inside Sales Representative

OBJECTIVE:
We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales person to assist our outside sales team. Ultimately, an outstanding Inside Sales person should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be an analytical thinker, and demonstrate a good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
Responsibilities
This is a very interactive role working with new customers and current customers
As an inside sales representative, this talented individual will play a crucial role in establishing relationships and marketing our company's brand in a way that is positive, honest and professional
This individual will make outbound calls to potential customers and follow up on leads, answer potential customers' questions and send additional information as requested
They will be assisting with generating quotes as well as enhancing the company's relationships with our customers
Locate customers that need our service by cold calling, emailing and following up on potential leads
Responsible for product knowledge to be able to communicate comfortably with our customers to determine their appropriate needs and requirements
Listen attentively to consumer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage product sales
Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of account set-up for each customer you speak with, including providing pricing and lead times
Assist outsides sales team as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Understanding and ability to form relationships with proper personnel and decision makers to attain sales
Understand and read technical drawings to discuss with the customer and convey the requirements to the shop
Does not need to be an Engineer
Excellent interpersonal and communication, verbal and written skills
Very driven to meet personal and company goals and expectations
Must be able to work independently
