  • Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm; Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

This role functions as a contract manager responsible for determining the optimal approach to basic procurement tasks, creating procurement documents, assessing bids, and overseeing procurement agreements.

This role demands a person with adeptness and adaptability in their role performance. The Contracting Officer assumes legal accountability for actions performed within assigned duties.

Contracting activities related to University construction and facility requirements are pivotal parts of this role, along with catering to various University sectors.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Microsoft Office, SAP, SRM, excellent oral and written communication skills

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience: BA degree plus a minimum of 1 year
