Job Description:
As a Lead Paint Prep Tech, you will be responsible for coordinating workflow in the Paint department team. Your role will involve prioritizing work, delegating assignments, and ensuring quality standards are met. Working closely with the department Supervisor, you will oversee production operations, staff development, and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality control. If you have a passion for detail-oriented tasks and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, this role is for you

Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize work based on Supervisor instructions
  • Delegate assignments to team members
  • Monitor productivity and safety of workers/operators
  • Identify areas for operational improvements
  • Maintain department paperwork and quality standards
  • Communicate priorities to other Leads
  • Ensure line loading practices for maximum output
  • Monitor tool and equipment calibration
  • Assist workers when needed
  • Be a role model for all employees
  • Maintain quality standards and compliance with ISO 13485
Requirements:
  • Prior leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to perform detailed tasks consistently
  • Experience with shop tools and basic math skills
  • Good dexterity and ability to focus on tasks
  • Experience with solvents or paints
