Job Description Summary

Provides administrative support, with most duties involving high-level administrative tasks, such as coordinating large events, meetings, or conferences, screening inquiries, managing projects, and space planning.

This role is a mix of on-site and remote work, with 3 days per week in a nearby Cigna office and the rest from home.

Responsibilities
  • Offers executive administrative services for Market Growth Leader and local market leadership team, managing calendars, expense reporting, and other tasks.
  • Creates and updates presentations and materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Assists with meeting and event support, including preparing materials, coordinating space setup, catering, and managing special projects.
  • Supports local community events by aiding in planning, management, and cleanup.
  • Helps with various projects in a busy sales office, such as office initiatives, mail and supplies management, and facility oversight.
  • Handles office supplies and promotional items procurement, maintaining the budget.
  • Assists with printing requests, such as binding and shipping materials.
  • May collaborate on segment-level administrative projects with other local offices.
  • Communicates effectively with internal partners, brokers, and clients.
  • Provides backup support to other administrative professionals as required.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant, ideally supporting senior leaders.
  • Experience in office or facility management is a plus.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet navigation.
  • Background in health insurance and knowledge of sales processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of working independently or in a team.
  • Experience in budgeting, accounting, or project management is beneficial.
  • High School Diploma required.

If working from home occasionally or permanently, a stable internet connection with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is necessary.
