WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:


You will be responsible for creating technical documents, training materials and manuals, explain complex information in a clear and concise manner and work with the Engineering, Product and Marketing teams to ensure accuracy of product descriptions.

  • Create, develop, plan, write, create visuals, edit operational materials, instructional materials, maintenance guides and create user manuals for products. These materials will be for a variety of audiences, including customers, internal support engineers, product developers, trainers, and more.
  • Ability to explore and analyze Electro-Mechanical product features and leverage it for user documentation & video creation.
  • Thorough understanding of technical writing standards, processes, and their application.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with Mechanical Engineers, CAD Designers, Software Developers, Lab Technicians, Support Engineers, and Documentation team members.
  • Ability and flexibility to work with teams across different geographies.
  • Must be technically inclined to understand infrastructure, enterprise product technologies, and analyze documentation & video requirements.
  • Find new and creative/innovative ways to communicate product information.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor degree required in English, Science or equivalent experience relevant to technical content writing. Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 2+ years of previous Technical Writing experience with a focus on researching, editing, and reviewing product documentation and/or content in support of a software & technical product
  • Ability to create documentation for native English users with excellent hold on English grammar
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, Adobe FrameMaker (Structured and unstructured), Photoshop and Video tools.
