Junior Systems Analyst Position at Amentum

Overview: Amentum is seeking a talented Junior Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing contract requirements, developing solutions using various sensors and Navy-owned sensor system software, and providing technical and engineering support services.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze contract requirements to develop solutions
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate, plan, design, and evaluate solutions
  • Develop system architecture and provide technical support services
  • Install and repair sensor systems
  • Perform tests and evaluations of systems
  • Prepare technical documentation
  • Participate in quality assurance testing
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in system architecture for sensor systems
  • Experience in working in remote overseas locations
  • Strong technical background in computer and network administration
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance
  • Certification in tower climbing and installations
  • Cisco CCNA and Network+ certification preferred
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Degree and experience in Engineering or Computer Science preferred

Work and Living Conditions:

This position may be located in harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. Employees must be willing to perform duties in extreme environments.
