Position Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cost Analyst, where you will collaborate with engineers and logistics professionals to develop comprehensive cost estimates for Naval Aviation Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize your extensive knowledge of cost estimating principles and practices related to weapons systems in various assignments. You will:
- Understand the technical baseline and apply technical judgment to assess financial risks.
- Translate technical and financial risks into cost estimates, ensuring confidence in budgeting and planning.
- Modify and enhance existing methodologies while employing advanced techniques as necessary.
- Work independently or lead a team, providing technical guidance to mid and junior-level analysts.
Work Environment:
This position primarily allows for telework, with a requirement to be on-site 1-2 days per week.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Department of Defense or a related field is preferred.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret DOD clearance is mandatory.
