The role:

Area Maintenance Manager (Band 2)

To manage a number of line stations within a region or regions (manned and/or agency. This includes strategic management & tactical execution to all agree performance indicators. (Delivery, cost. H&S, People & culture, customer, supplier management &cI.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and supervise maintenance activities including setting clear targets and expectations to deliver departmental
  • Develop and motivate a team to its full potential and
  • Ensure team and individual compliance with company procedures in direct relation to the supervision of maintenance tasks being conducted.
  • Ensure and support effective communication and escalation of issues that require additional
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement in a production environment, to increase unit performance and colleague development.
  • Provides operational leadership for region and stations.
  • Ensure the BA and Customer line maintenance operation for station/area operates within BA, Customer, EASA, CAA and/or FAA compliance standards.
  • Manage the station/area/suppliers to deliver operational, safety, quality and financial targets.
  • Negotiate local TU agreements as appointed by LH Delivery Manager
  • Performance manage teams & individuals.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the stations & region.

Your experience:

  • Ability to hold an airport restricted zone
  • Ability to hold an airside driving
  • EASA66, FAA A&P License or local license is desirable
  • EWS Proficient
  • Knowledgeable in Quality, HS&E for area of responsibility
  • Knowledgeable in the aviation regulatory requirements for the area of responsibility
  • Practitioner in all Finance systems applicable to LM
