We are seeking an enterprising person to guide our engineering execution as our Head of Technical Program Management practice. You will report directly to the CTO and work across the organization to ensure we are building a compelling, innovative and highly performant environment aligned to our corporate values -- building the SaaSOps movement and fostering the SaaSOps community.

Who we are looking for:

The Head of Technical Program Management (TPM) is a strategic and integral member of our CTO organization, and will work closely with all of our product & engineering leaders collaborating on the technical direction for BetterCloud. The Head of TPM specifically owns the overall processes for delivery excellence, including our engineering team delivery practices, engineering metrics, and overall technical program reporting. This is a hands-on position. Be ready to roll your sleeves up and implement the practices you create. To be successful in this role, your experience should include:

  • Working with Product and GTM departments defining operating procedures and policies.
  • Building software delivery best practices and ensuring engineering teams are leveraging them.
  • Defining strategic initiatives and collaborating across organizations on projects.
  • Provide executive level technical delivery status and analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the technical delivery across engineering.
  • Attract, recruit and retain top talent utilizing your high EQ and participative leadership style.

What you will do:

  • Develop software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) practices that empower the delivery of amazing products that customers love.
  • Partner across the organization to define, document and train on how we build products at BetterCloud.
  • Define and execute against our Engineering key metrics and MBO's.
  • Develop and manage the dashboards and analytics that visualize actionable outcomes.
  • Leverage Lean practices to map key workflows while identifying & prioritizing improvements.
  • Collaborate across the organization to continuously improve engineering standards.
  • Create the technical documentation to support our customers, developers and teams.
  • Create Jira automations and structures as needed.
  • Create a more effective and happy Engineering Organization through streamlined tooling, process, and problem solving.

The office of the TPM owns the overall processes for software delivery excellence, Together, we:

  • Manage the overall processes and workflows for engineering, continuously identifying & prioritizing improvements
  • Ensure technical documentation is maintained to support our customers, developers and teams
  • Manage relationships with key providers and partners, accelerating delivery of key integrations

Salary

Salary Range: 155k - 173k

This salary range represents BetterCloud's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterCloud's sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee's work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterCloud's business and other operational considerations.
