Key Responsibilities- Provide program management oversight, including managing multiple project teams, portfolio roadmaps, executive reporting, and overall portfolio progress.
- Be assigned as Project Manager to lead specific key projects within the portfolio from initiation through close-out activities, including managing scope according to technical contracts, developing change orders, and maintaining project schedules to ensure successful projects across the portfolio.
- Promote, monitor, and facilitate program performance data analysis and insights for all projects, programs, and/or portfolios executed within the team.
- Hire, coach, train, and manage project managers and other team members for growth and development opportunities.
- Actively manage team resource planning and workload.
- Responsible for project financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and hiring.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required (master's preferred).
- Extensive experience in portfolio, program, and project management, ideally within the utilities industry and electrical transmission.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing people within a PMO or program setting.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and project controls methodologies.
- PMP Certification and OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred.
- Comfort handling ambiguity and managing multiple assignments.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively expand professional networks through strategic relationship building and engagement.
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to do what it takes to deliver excellent work product and customer experiences.
- Ability to commute to various clients and construction sites in the Denver metropolitan area.
Pioneer Management Consulting offers a comprehensive benefits package, including meaningful time off and paid holidays, parental leave, 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and a broad range of health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on factors such as skillset and experience. Bonuses and other incentives are awarded based on individual contributions and overall company performance.
