Sales Development Representatives make cold calls to prospects to identify decision-makers, qualify sales leads, and set up appointments for Account Executives. Primary Position Tasks:

  • Uncover opportunities for Account Executives to sell innovative offerings for IT Managed Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice solutions and more.
  • Make effective use of the telephone, email, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, social media and other sales tools
  • Work to achieve quarterly quotas
  • Work closely with the Sales team to schedule meetings
  • Work closely with marketing to manage leads and develop pipeline
  • Leverage ZoomInfo for lead and opportunity management

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Entry Level sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to prospect for new business by phone for long hours
  • Ability to build professional rapport by telephone with prospects at Executive, or C level.
  • Ability to uncover opportunities via phone conversation through probing questions.

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Preferred experience using Outreach IO, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn - Sales Navigator

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong consulting and communication skills
  • Confidence and experience in front of clients
  • Strong ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to be a self-starter and possess good time management skills
  • Be resilient, coach-able, and natural at prospecting
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task.

Essential Elements:

This position is an office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the workday.

This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
