Lead Diagnostic Radiologic Technician

Responsible to ensure and maintain the cleanliness of the technical assigned work areas, maintains necessary supplies in the work area.
Responsible to report all problems pertaining to MR to the MRI Supervisor.Responsible for reporting any equipment failure to the MRI Supervisor.
Responsible for contacting Biomedical Engineering or the Service Vendor to arrange for service.
Has responsibility to recognize and exhibit excellent MRI Safety Practices; to comply with published and communicated safety procedures; to immediately report observed safety infractions and unsafe working conditions; and to report in a timely fashion work related illnesses and injuries to the MRI Supervisor.
Directs patient flow in a smooth, systematic, continuous and timely manner to ensure that quality patient care is executed in an efficient and effective manner and assists in interviewing applicants.
Trains other department personnel and assists in the clinical education of radiologic technology students as well as assisting with in-services within the department.
Report any competency issues to the MRI Supervisor and or MRI Safety Officer that could cause adverse safety outcomes.
