Role Summary:
HonorHealth is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic. This expanding clinic comprises a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, including Providers, Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and more, all working under the guidance of the Practice Manager. Our clinic serves a diverse patient demographic, addressing both pediatric sports injuries and geriatric conditions.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, along with completion of a Radiology/ARRT program. A preference for candidates with two years of experience in trauma or urgent care settings is noted. Additionally, a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ARRT certification are required.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. Your duties will include:

  • Reviewing patient information to ensure accurate imaging procedures.
  • Transporting patients and assisting them into position while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conducting radiological procedures and monitoring patient comfort and safety throughout.
  • Administering contrast materials as necessary and responding to any adverse reactions.
  • Evaluating images for quality assurance and compliance with protocols.
  • Assisting in the coordination of daily departmental workflow.
  • Maintaining imaging equipment and performing quality control tests.
  • Participating in staff training and orientation as needed.
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
