Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to learn to provide\r
State Care Coordination and Maryland Recovery Net (MDRN) services to\r
individuals attending levels 3.5, 3.3, 3.7, or 3.7WM using public behavioral\r
health funding and to other populations identified by the jurisdiction. This\r
position will also meet with individuals at multiple sites throughout the\r
community.\r
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. \r
Experience: One year of administrative staff or professional work in a healthcare setting. \r
Notes: \r
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience. \r
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education. \r
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess the following:\r

1.�Experience in behavioral health recovery, to include first-hand experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges and\r
should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding gained from personal experience in behavioral health recovery.\r

2. Training in customer service and public/behavioral health.\r
\r
\r
3. Experience working with individuals facing behavioral health disorders and\r
homelessness.\r
\r
\r
4. Experience preparing accurate and timely reports.\r
