Job Overview:
The Financial Controller will be in charge of overseeing the accounting department, ensuring precise financial reporting, and maintaining solid internal controls. This position involves supervising all financial management facets, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial report preparation, budget and forecasts development, as well as internal control policies and procedures establishment. The ideal candidate should possess a robust accounting background, exceptional leadership qualities, and a meticulous attention to detail.

Main Duties:

  • Supervise financial statements preparation and analysis to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to senior management.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and preserve general ledger accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate close processes at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
  • Reconcile account balances and bank statements.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process.
  • Create financial forecasts and monitor performance against budgets.
  • Identify and explain variances between actual results and budgeted figures.
Requirements:
  • Accounting, Finance, or related field Bachelor's degree (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial roles.
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective team management and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity and attention to detail.
