Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage controls databases, graphics, and programming based on sequences provided by the Design Specialist and project specifications.
  • Conduct thorough controls start-up and commissioning, including point-to-point verification on assigned projects. Ensure proper alarm functions, annunciation, and other responses from equipment and control systems.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to other contractors on-site.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges during both static and dynamic start-up and commissioning phases of building control systems.
  • Support the resolution of building operational issues that extend beyond the control systems or specialized operations.
  • Contribute insights as needed to aid in accurate estimation, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, and training for building systems.
  • Prepare start-up documentation, including daily logs, checkout logs, and commissioning reports as required for assigned projects.
  • Ensure timely creation of software backups for projects and software development efforts.
  • Provide ongoing service support for existing installations to ensure compliance with building occupancy regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining the efficient operation of existing systems while offering continuous support to facility building engineers.
  • Complete necessary paperwork such as time sheets and service work orders accurately and promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of submittal documents, as-built drawings, and Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
