The Pediatric Explorer Clinic provides innovative and comprehensive care to children of all ages. We focus on the whole-person health of each of our patients with our integrated approach to care and treatment. We provide a variety of services that are specifically tailored to the needs of infants, children, teens, and young adults, including NICU follow-up care, medication therapy management, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. In addition, we offer a variety of medical specialties, including pediatric, heart care, neurology and neurosurgery, rheumatology, and genetics and metabolism. Our multidisciplinary team works together to deliver the best care possible in an environment that is welcoming for children from infancy to adolescence.

What you will do:

  • You will play a meaningful role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits.
  • Monitoring clinic schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination room, and collecting pertinent medical information for their health records.
  • Act as valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians, among others.
  • Depending on scope of certification or license, some employees will be assisting with minor in office procedures, giving injections and immunizations and other laboratory/sample collections.

What you will need:

  • As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): NREMT & MN EMT certification
  • As a Medical Assistant (MA): Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA/CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred)
  • As an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active Minnesota Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license

If selected for hire, compensation and job classification will be individually determined based on a candidate's specific background, including licensure, certifications, and experience level.

Location: M Health Fairview Pediatric Explorer Clinic Riverside Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55454

Hours: 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week - Monday-Friday)

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 Bonus may be available to qualified applicants
