We are currently looking for a Chief of Staff; this is a remote role that requires working in US time zones and traveling to the US.

As Chief of Staff, you will support the CEO in operational, financial, and communications activities to facilitate effective decision-making and implementation. You will provide oversight to high-level projects and initiatives, particularly focused on the execution of the leadership's OKRs, support the CEO's daily workflows, and facilitate communication with other C-Suite executives. As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the CEO to get twice as much done as the CEO would be able to do alone.

What you will focus on:

Execute on the long-term strategic vision of the CEO:

  • Contribute to the development and tracking of OKRs [across the organization / for CEO direct reports].
  • Provide leverage to the CEO by ranking competing priorities and creating decision-making frameworks.
  • Take part in selective leadership and strategy meetings along with the CEO and coordinate follow-ups and next steps.

Own and drive key projects:

  • Coordinate and monitor high-value ad-hoc projects for the CEO.
  • Plan, track and monitor the progress of key priorities and strategic initiatives for the Leadership Team.
  • Manage critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the ability to effectively execute on top priorities.

Manage communications on behalf of the CEO:

  • Prepare documents on behalf of the CEO for internal and external audiences - including highly compelling presentations for company-wide meetings and external speaking engagements.
  • Drive departmental efficiencies through increased communication across the Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
  • Structure, prepare for and coordinate follow-ups for all CEO meetings.
  • Foster open communication across the greater management team (including C-Suite leadership, investors, etc.) and represent the CEO when speaking with internal stakeholders.
  • Support events, internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO.
  • Prepare communication and research for the CEO, including, but not limited to, company updates, presentations , content, slide decks, messages and data analysis.
  • Ensure all upcoming meetings are relevant, well structured, and that the preparation is complete and correct.

What we are looking for:

  • 5 - 7+ years of experience in a high growth startup, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting executive level management and driving interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to understand and articulate complex issues.
  • Ability to prioritize, lead discussions and coordinate projects and deliverables with executive presence while maintaining a sense of humility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a desire to take initiative and critically analyze processes and translate findings for executives.
  • Knack for fostering strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Incredibly organized with impeccable attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity for the management of confidential information.
  • Financial prowess and applied knowledge.
  • Understanding of pivoting and sticking to priorities.
