Position Overview
As a member of Autodesk's Executive Search team, you will guide searches for our technology organizations at Autodesk. Reporting into the Director, Executive Search - Technology, you will partner to lead the executive search process and build a diverse network of leadership talent in the external market. You will develop multi-channel search strategies to attract top leadership talent. In partnership with our executive recruiters, you will build talent networks for roles in Engineering, Product, Design, and Architecture while building a trusted presence with the talent market across industries.
This role can be based in the U.S. or Canada and can be 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- You will contribute to the execution of executive-level (Director, Senior Director, VP/SVP/EVP) searches across the technology organizations at Autodesk
- You will partner with senior leaders on high-profile executive hires, creating leadership search strategies across our technology organizations with a focus on identifying and engaging remarkable leaders, and advising on candidate profiles
- You will build relationships with executive talent in the marketplace by sourcing passive candidates through research, internal and external networking, and direct outreach
- For research, you will conduct research to map target companies and top leadership talent for Autodesk
- For networking, you will build talent networks and tap into knowledgeable industry sources to develop an on-going pool of candidates
- For outreach, you will be responsible for candidate outreach, initial candidate screening using our best practice framework, and for sharing your findings and assessments with the lead executive recruiter on the team including knowledge of their requirements, priorities, and concerns
- You have domain talent knowledge and subject matter expertise or strong business acumen, allowing you to advise on relevant talent pools, best hiring practices, and location strategies
- You will evaluate and present leadership talent to senior management, hiring managers, and People Business Partners (Human Resources) across Autodesk
- You will use a data-driven approach to summarize talent metrics to help guide strategic hiring decisions
- You will guide executive candidates through Autodesk's hiring process and connect them to our industry-leading products, showcasing our culture and dynamic strategies that make Autodesk a successful software enterprise and a valued employer
- You will play an essential role building and promoting a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Autodesk by aligning to our best hiring practices including ideating and executing a diverse hiring strategy following key business objectives and serve as a subject matter expert
Minimum Qualifications
- You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- You have 4+ years of experience in Executive Recruiting, research processes, and candidate outreach cultivation techniques
- You are well-versed in executive search, including search/market strategy, honing successful pitches, creative candidate sourcing, and candidate generation and development
- You have project management and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and stakeholders
- You have experience using ATS/CRM recruiting systems and a variety of recruiting resources
- You have a proven ability to leverage a data-driven approach to make hiring decisions and to synthesize talent metrics to help drive strategic hiring decisions
- You have experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- You have personal presence and the ability to provide trusted advisor skills throughout the search process

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $113,800 and $184,140. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
