Job Summary


Job Summary
Provide daily support to the Culinary team, which includes but is not limited to:
* Manage and maintain schedules for culinary team members
* Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events related to the culinary department.
* Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and other communications.
* Assist in tracking and managing inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
* Coordinate orders for food, beverages, and kitchen equipment with suppliers.
* Attend high level meetings, take notes and relay information
* Reconcile monthly expenses
* Maintain accurate and organized records, including recipes, menus, and inventory lists.
* Prepare and update documents related to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen protocols.
* Perform general office duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
* Assist with venue projects when necessary
* Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications
* Strong verbal / written communication, phone etiquette
* Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint or similar programs) and Internet
* Ability to provide leadership, engage in positive interaction with senior leadership, staff and guests
* Prioritize, organize, motivate staff, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, communicate and diffuse possible volatile situations with tact
* Ability to multi-task daily, be organized, detail oriented, self-driven, forecast issues and handle last minute projects to meet deadlines
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
* Proficient typing skills required (ability to type 30 wpm)
* 1+ years administrative experience required
* High school diploma required; college degree preferred
