OVERVIEW

The Account Manager will work across advertising partners within the Professional Pod at Morning Brew, overseeing clients in marketing tech, project management software, cybersecurity, and big tech.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Account Management, the AM will play an integral role in activating Morning Brew's brand partnerships, advertising executions and clients' success by working directly with clients as well as internally across the entire organization. This person will oversee execution across Morning Brew's franchises, focusing on: Marketing Brew, Retail Brew, HR Brew, CFO Brew and IT Brew (and a few others to launch this year).

As Manager, Account Management you will oversee the Account Managers' day-to-day, support relationships with existing key clients and manage strategy for our partners in the professional category.

Our positions are remote hybrid; however, we have a strong preference for employees who can work from our Morning Brew HQ in NYC.

Here's what you'll be working on:

- Manage the Professional AM pod through bi-weekly pod meetings, weekly 1-1s and general oversight of the team's day-to-day work. Hire and train (as needed) new team members.

- Reporting to the Associate Director of Account Management, the Manager, AM will oversee professional/B2B client media strategy, support in the development of category-specific insights, uncover category-specific needs, and create sellable packages that best support client KPIs.

- Work hand-in-hand with the AD, respective AMs and Account Executives (sales) to manage and grow key accounts and support in the activation of high-tier brand partnerships on-site, social, newsletter and in real life.

- The Manager, AM offers a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally within the Revenue org, as well as with other teams including Product, Growth, and Editorial as well as across Morning Brew's franchises including: Marketing Brew, Retail Brew, Tech Brew, HR Brew, Healthcare Brew, CFO Brew and IT Brew.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years in a digital or integrated media environment (i.e. publisher or agency), with a background in media planning and account management. Media planning experience is a must.

- Minimum 2 years of management experience.

- Experience working with Professional/B2B brands and strong understanding of their KPIs

- Ability to lead pertinent client presentations (i.e. kick-off meetings, mid-campaign reports, and wrap reporting decks) and manage client/agency relationships.

- Strong problem solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach.

- Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, digital activations and execution, experience with custom/branded content, social media, and audio. Experience with events/virtual activations is a plus

- Ability to understand and interpret data to craft stories, make observations and draw conclusions. Utilize this performance data and insights to drive account strategy, upsell, drive incremental and renewal business. Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Boostr, Podsights, Sailthru experience is a plus.
