What is the opportunity?

As an Operations Associate II in the cash services management team, you will provide analysis, processing, and customer service support for exception-based complex and/or highly specialized Operation's processes. This role encompass various roles and responsibilities from Deposit, Disbursement, and ACH. In addition, you will also provide customer service for check printing, deposits to complex and branch cage associates while also handling the reconcilement of branch depository locations, Internal/External ACH support and exception processing.

What will you do?

  • The department review and approval of ACH and Check request transactions
  • Reconcilement of multiple DDA Bank Accounts
  • Customer services to various areas and departments of RBC
  • Deposits to complex and branch cage associates, client associates as well as departments within Operations
  • Deposit errors, deposit concentration for firm funding

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 2+ year of job-related experience
  • Positive attitude, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong customer service, organizational skills, attention to detail and confidentiality

Nice-to-have

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field
  • 1+ year business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Previous processing experience in a financial operations role
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
