ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:

Central HR consists of multiple areas of expertise including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Classification & Compensation; Employee and Labor Relations; Continuous Process Improvement, HRIS, HR Business Partners and Talent and Learning Management. USF Human Resources is embarking on a multi-year transformation focused on a Human Resources strategy that elevates our people so that the University and culture support a competitive workforce advantage in line with our strategic plan.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Employee Engagement Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive and productive work environment within our university. Your mission is to enhance employee engagement, foster a strong organizational culture, and achieve our cultural objectives. Reporting to the Culture & Engagement Manager, you'll collaborate with leaders across various departments to create a workplace where every employee feels valued and motivated to contribute to our collective success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Engagement Strategies:
Develop and implement innovative employee engagement strategies that align with our university's culture.
Collaborate with the University Marketing and Communications team to create effective communication plans for employee engagement, culture, and employee feedback initiatives.
Stay up-to-date on best practices in employee engagement, retention, morale, recognition, and productivity.
Support any initiatives that result from employee engagement surveys, ensuring effective implementation and follow-up.
Data-Driven Insights:
Analyze data from engagement and life cycle surveys to identify areas for improvement.
Recommend and report actionable insights based on survey findings.

Support and Partnership:
Collaborate with colleges and administrative departments to equip them with tools and resources for analyzingsurvey data and developing targeted action plans.
Monitor action planning in Qualtrics and ensure the university is focusing on what matters most to our employees.
Champion and promote university culture and employee feedback initiatives.

Survey Administration:
Assist with the development and administration of employee lifecycle surveys including engagement, on-boarding, and exit surveys.

Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communication, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, culture building, or a similar field.

Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree

SPECIAL SKILLS/TRAINING:

Ability to develop and implement successful employee engagement strategies.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
A passion for creating a positive and engaging work environment.
