JOB SUMMARY
As the Manager, Themed Entertainment Talent Recruitment & Management at JRA, you will play a crucial role in managing the staffing functions for our themed entertainment projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing staffing strategies, ensuring project teams have the right talents, assessing outside resources and candidates that will complement our existing world-class team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Staffing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive staffing strategies aligned with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Directors to understand staffing needs and project timelines.

Recruiting:

  • Responsible for refining and developing our outside resources database, keeping it current.
  • Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing and initial interviewing, to ensure the acquisition of skilled and qualified personnel that complement our existing team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry professionals to build a talent pool that can fluctuate to support our growing portfolio of work.

Resource Planning:

  • Work closely with Project Managers and Project Directors to assess resource needs and allocate staff appropriately.
  • Proactively identify potential staffing challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining company-wide Roles/Responsibilities

Staff Development:

  • Work with the Sr. Director, Operations to support professional development initiatives, including training programs and mentorship opportunities.

Team Collaboration:

  • Build collaborative relationships with external agencies that can support creative, design development, project management and other disciplines/services.
  • Attend and/or participate in recruiting fairs, internship and co-op meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of staffing plans with project requirements.
  • Support Directors and Project Managers whom are responsible for project team management in building cohesive and effective project teams, and making adjustments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven record of managing staff within the themed entertainment industry.
  • Strives for a culture of excellence, knowing personnel is our greatest asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Willing to travel as required.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align creative efforts with broader company goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related design field; or equivalent experience in themed entertainment.
