Job Description

The Creator Marketing Associate will play a crucial role in executing influencer/affiliate marketing strategies across platforms such as Instagram and TikTok with the goals of driving sales and producing highly engaging creator-generated content. This position requires a blend of creativity, analytical prowess, and meticulous attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on researching, vetting, and collaborating with creators to produce content that resonates with audiences and achieves marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Brief Creation: Generate creative briefs for influencer campaigns by researching brand situations and categories on TikTok and Instagram. Develop innovative and strategic content ideas that align with brand goals and audience interests.
  • Research and Vetting Creators: Conduct thorough research to identify potential influencer partners. Evaluate influencers based on their content quality, engagement metrics, audience demographics, and alignment with brand values. Compare and contrast influencers to select the most suitable candidates for campaigns.
  • Influencer Scenario Analysis: Utilize a data-driven approach to assess influencer performance metrics, including Earned Media Value (EMV), to inform selection processes. Candidates with the ability to identify broader marketplace-specific benefits such as category/keyword ranking improvements and BSR lifts will be highly regarded.
  • Compliance and Guidelines: Review creator content to ensure it adheres to brand guidelines and compliance standards. Provide constructive feedback to improve content authenticity and effectiveness. Recognize and reward attention to detail and the ability to identify key compliance factors.
  • Behavioral Skills: Demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills, particularly in scenarios where team members are late in delivering their work. Exhibit excellent communication skills in managing project setbacks, leveling expectations, and navigating challenges such as shipping delays or production edits.
