Purpose of Role

Under Armour's SkillBridge Program:

The Solutions Analyst role is a new program aimed at providing a candidate with a comprehensive experience into Information Technology in a corporate environment. This role will have an opportunity to participate in rotations across the IT organization including infrastructure and networking, cyber security, applications, and the Project Management Office (PMO). It is the objective of these rotations, that the candidate will participate in small efforts being undertaken by the team. This could include, but is not limited to, being responsible for gathering, documenting, and receiving approval on business requirements, managing a project plan and tasks, coordinating resources across functional teams including external contractors, identifying and managing risks, and developing and communicating status updates. Participation within these production activities is aimed to provide the candidate with a level of exposure needed to understand what the various IT teams do on a day-to-day basis and help them determine the career path on which they would like to pursue. The majority of Under Armour's Information Technology teammates are fully remote, so this position will be fully remote.

Your Impact

• Participate in design sessions with functional and/or technical teammates, documenting the requirements so that they can be approved by the business partner(s).
• Get clarity of requirements when requirements are vague or unclear.
• Maintain proper version control of all key requirement and design documents.
• Develop and maintain project plans aimed at delivering the solutions that were formulated during the design sessions.
• Coordinate tasks and activities across cross-functional teams, including external contractors and/or consultants.
• Work with key stakeholders to identify risks to the effort, develop plans to mitigate them, and see that those plans are executed if necessary.
• Provide updates and formalized communications to key stakeholders.
• Develop other project management artifacts necessary to organize and deliver the approved solution.
• Inspire teamwork without direct reporting authority and maximize the value created by the team.
• Work closely with management to help remove roadblocks that are impeding the completion key tasks and activities.
• Contribute to the development of documentation needed for a changing process due to the delivered solution.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in project management or a technical field of study or equivalent formal training is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• An understanding of basic project management methodologies, either waterfall or agile is preferred.
• Ability to deliver on dates in a condensed time period.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with organizing and working with teammates in a remote environment.
• High level understanding/familiarity of the various technology disciplines including networking, infrastructure, cyber security, and application development.
• Experience in collaborating with external partners or vendors.
• Self-motivated candidate who is willing to seek answers instead of always being given the answer.
