SUMMARY

The Mixer Driver will operate a truck with an auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load truck with materials and start mixer.
  • Transport and unload concrete mix at designated locations.
  • Clean truck post-delivery to prevent concrete hardening.
  • Inspect and maintain truck equipment.
  • Conduct safe and courteous driving practices.
  • Assist customers with concrete placement when needed.
  • Keep paperwork and equipment in order.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, individuals must meet the following criteria:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

REQUIRED TRAVEL

Less than 10%.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking effectively.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

REASONING ABILITY

Apply logic to follow instructions and solve problems.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid 'Class B' CDL license and ability to pass DOT tests.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds, work in various positions, and have good vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to physical and environmental elements, including loud noise levels.
