Trade Marketing at AbbVie has evolved significantly from an operational and tactical focused responsibility for select products to one requiring development of complex pharmacy and distribution strategies across the entire portfolio in both the specialty and retail pharmacy channels.Many pharmacies are just beginning to embrace the technologies and customer service innovation, and as specialty pharmacies reinvent themselves to meet the evolving needs of their patients, the Director of Trade Strategy & Marketing will establish the vision and strategy for how AbbVie will partner with these key stakeholders to optimize the patient experience and grow our business now and in the future.Whether it be a focus on convenience by experimenting with new, digital capabilities of their pharmacy, or seeking higher-touch clinical support models, these increasing patient demands put pressure on manufactures such as AbbVie to define our future specialty and retail pharmacy value propositions and identify stakeholders in the channel to partner with to navigate this complex environment.The Director of Trade Strategy & Marketing – Neuroscience & Eye Care is responsible for leading a team that identifies business opportunities in the fast-evolving specialty pharmacy and distribution channel, then developing and implementing initiatives to partner with pharmacy and wholesaler stakeholders in support of patient onboarding and adherence to AbbVie products.This role, supporting a combination of specialty and retail products such as Vraylar, Qulipta, Ubrelvy, Botox, Duopa and our Rx Eye Care portfolio, requires a high level of expertise in the pharmacy and distribution channel including a keen understanding of its complexities and challenges, coupled with experience developing strategic pharmacy partnerships and distribution models with an eye towards innovation.Oversee the development of AbbVie's strategy to partner with specialty pharmacies in their effort to accelerate digital connectivity with patients, leveraging technology to not only facilitate drug purchasing, but also manage patient touchpoints, enhancing the overall patient experience.Partner with Market Access Strategy team to assess impact of and develop strategies to address government and/or payer policy changes on AbbVie's portfolio of products, and lead related pharmacy mitigation initiatives.Establish Trade Marketing culture by creating an inclusive environment that encourages synchronicity, agility, transparency and development.
