Business context:

Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) is the €2.5bn+ foodservice division of Unilever. It leads the dynamic Food Service market across its categories and has ambitious growth objectives, marketing a range of professional food and beverage products and services to operators across 22 Multi Country Organizations (MCOs) in 72 countries.

UFS is accelerating its digital transformation to fuel growth through data driven and technology enabled Go-to-Market (GTM) capabilities. Our ambition is to reach to 2.5 million operators by 2022 via an online & off-line contact strategy. The focus of UFS marketing and sales is to engage with chefs & customers through an integrated communication system via visits by sales representatives and digital touchpoints like the website / Webshop, segmented & personalized campaigns and UFS apps. The new roles of Marketing, Customer Development & other Go-to-Market teams are more integrated in the digital ecosystem and are vital for a great operator & customer experience.

Main purpose of the job:

As a Content Specialist, you will be responsible for attracting customers by creating and delivering valuable content and experiences tailored to them. You will form connections that customers are looking for, which solves their problems. You will drive:

  • Operator Lifecycle to deliver Business Targets of Reach, Penetration, TO & other Customer-centric KPIs
  • Be responsible for driving Traffic on relevant digital platforms (volume + efficiency + quality)
  • Generate Leads (volume + efficiency + quality) to deliver # of digitally engaged operators
  • Develop digital consumer journeys that drive touchpoint engagement and sales

Main Accountabilities

  • Own & Drive Business Growth Targets for Turn Over, Reach & Penetration
  • Drives the full Operator Lifecycle for all key customer segments.
  • Understands the end-to-end buying journey of our key customer types & addresses the key moments that matter through omnichannel content.
  • Co-designs omnichannel journeys and campaigns (together with Traffic & Marketing Automation specialist) that drive the full lifecycle, including lead management.
  • Plans & creates digital and social content, using SEO best practices, to drive both the operator lifecycle and our customer's goals along their buying journey.
  • Ensures optimal business processes execution to ensure frictionless delivery of all content marketing activities.
  • Continuously measures & optimizes all content. Provides actionable insights (Minimum frequency = monthly).
  • Guardian of Manages all content on and ensures the website is up-to-date and performing well.
  • Develops Partner ecosystems to increase reach / content / credibility (Chefs, Key Operator Groups, Industry bodies, other Suppliers, etc.).

Digital & Data:

Apply the key future fit approaches to drive successful teams which includes agility, speed, community/Squad drive. Drives Data driven decisions in OCTs & other business processes.

Technical Tools:

Ability to apply the following digital marketing tools:

  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including Adobe Assets
  • SEM Rush
  • Marketo (Simple campaigns)

Key member of a designated OCT – ensures KPIs are met and participate in idea generation and execution through sales team.

Essential:

  • 2-3 years of working experience in similar function in FMCG
  • Proven track record in Marketing & Sales, preferably in the Foodservice Industry
  • Basics of Marketing Automation
  • Digital & Social media
