Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Requirements:


  • Active CNA certification obtained through a program completion
  • Minimum one (1) year of Sub-Acute experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Full vaccination against COVID19, including Booster(s)
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Good physical condition to assist patients, stand for extended periods, and lift/move patients as necessary
  • Compassionate attitude towards residents and their families

Primary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Responsibilities:


  • Providing personal care for residents under nurse supervision
  • Assisting with daily living activities like dressing, bathing, grooming, and dining
  • Organizing unit activities efficiently
  • Responding to resident needs promptly
  • Ensuring proper body mechanics are applied
  • Conducting patient rounds and noting any changes
  • Offering companionship and topnotch care
  • Maintaining a hygienic environment
  • Prioritizing patient activities based on care requirements
  • Safely transferring residents between locations
  • Escorting residents to dining and activity areas
  • Demonstrating punctuality and professionalism
  • Fulfilling any other assigned tasks

Pay Scale:

$19 to $22 per hour (Experience-based)

The salary range is determined by various elements such as proximity, work schedule, expertise, and experience.
