While reporting to the Operations Manager as the Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for checking the final output of artwork files and data to ensure they have been created in accordance with the client requirements and printer specifications.

What you'll be doing:

  • Final Quality Control Checks
  • Ensures Right First-Time quality performance is achieved.
  • Checks artwork build and reprographics are in adherence with the business' standard working practices, client's brand rules and printer specifications.
  • Works to schedule and communicates delays.
  • Performs range checks.
  • Collaborates with multiple functions to service the client.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Shares observations to optimize quality, delivery, and profitability.
  • Adopts best practice and continuous improvement actions.
  • Participates in root cause and corrective action investigations.
  • Coaching & Development
  • Guides and advises less experienced members of the team.
  • Identifies and discusses issues with relevant team members.
  • Client Interaction
  • Delivers customer demonstrations.
  • Contacts: Interacts across teams with multiple disciplines at all levels, taking guidance and instruction.
  • Some potential external client interaction in support of our Client Service team.
  • Level of Responsibility: Is expected to work with minimal supervision.
  • Has no direct reports however informally supports others.
  • Decision-Making Authority: Makes recommendations on process, performance and business improvements.
  • Physical and Sensory Demands:
  • Extensive DSE (Display Screen Equipment) use.
  • Extensive periods of concentration and attention to detail.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting with the opportunity to take breaks when required.

  • Office working environment.
  • Some requirements for flexibility in hours to meet our client and business needs.

This is a hybrid position, the ideal candidate would be located in or around Cincinnati, Ohio.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • Experience in packaging artwork production.
  • Use of software applications used in the checking of artwork packaging such Illustrator Viewer, Esko Viewer, Global Vision etc.
  • Understanding of print processes and reprographics.
  • Ability to interpret and follow guideline documents.
  • Communication skills particularly listening, verbal and written.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Team working skills.
  • Time Management skills to respond to a dynamic work environment.

This is a progression position and could be a level I, II or III. Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate's experience and education, and current business needs.

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this role is from $42,450 to $50,940 and is eligible for overtime.
