Job Overview
CTL Aerospace is a comprehensive NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing firm that has been serving prominent aerospace and governmental entities since 1946.

We are in search of a skilled Quality Control Inspector to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment at our facility in northern Cincinnati, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfill or surpass all requirements for Quality Control Inspector I.
  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections on components and final assemblies utilizing monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Adhere to internal quality systems, business policies, and regulatory standards while supporting organizational goals.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workstation on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions.
  • Employ basic shop math skills for tolerancing and measurement of products.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of GD&T tolerancing.
  • Understand the utilization of an ERP system.
  • Generate inspection reports and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
  • Exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Have a basic understanding of issuing Nonconforming Reports.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to meet manufacturing requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in precision manufacturing and inspection, preferably in the aerospace sector with a focus on composite manufacturing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse teams.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication abilities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Capability to work in a manufacturing setting and lift up to 50 lbs.
