Quality Control Inspector II - 2nd Shift


Position Overview
CTL Aerospace is a fully accredited NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing organization that has been serving major aerospace and governmental entities since 1946.

Our expertise lies in the fabrication of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.


Role Responsibilities
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment at our facility in northern Cincinnati, Ohio.

Key Duties Include:

  • Meeting or surpassing all standards for Quality Control Inspector I.
  • Conducting dimensional and visual inspections on components and final assemblies utilizing monitoring and measuring equipment (M&ME) as per the production schedule.
  • Adhering to internal quality systems, business policies, and regulatory standards while supporting organizational goals.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the workstation on a daily basis.
  • Interpreting and understanding blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions.
  • Applying basic shop math skills for tolerancing and product measurement.
  • Possessing foundational knowledge of GD&T tolerancing.
  • Understanding the use of an ERP system.
  • Generating inspection and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
  • Managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Issuing Nonconforming Reports as needed.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision to meet manufacturing requirements.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in precision manufacturing and inspection, preferably in the aerospace sector with a focus on composite manufacturing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues on the production floor.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication abilities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing setting and lift up to 50 lbs.
