Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer II to be based in our New York office.

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the following items:

Performs field inspections for transit facilities and private clients
Leads a team of engineers on field investigation tasks
Prepares inspection reports identifying deteriorations in existing construction
Proposes approaches to reinforce and repair deteriorated structures
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of tasks leader
Gathers and correlates engineering data using established procedures
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations
Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision

Qualifications:
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

BA/BS in Structural Engineering plus two (2) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Professional experience using AutoCAD or Micro-Station

Preferred Qualifications :
4 years of experience performing field inspections for transit facilities
Experience working in the New York market
