This position is being filled under the memorandum from the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R) "Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense," dated June 23, 2023.

As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN) at the GS some of your typical work assignments may include:

Serve as Plans and Policy Director for DMA Information Technology Systems Portfolio, to provide Senior Information Resource Management (IRM) leadership in the areas of acquisition, planning, programming and execution of the IT portfolio, and to manage the day-to-day operations of the IT Systems Plans and Policy Directorate.

Manages policy and oversight of Information Resource Management (IRM) activities within the organization supporting DoD standards for acquisition, accountability, Defense Cyber Workforce (DCWF), and planning, programming, and budget execution (PPBE) related to DMA Information Systems.

Serves as senior-level supervisor responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and programs to ensure information assets are acquired responsibly and managed transparently ensuring DoD CIO visibility of all information system and DCWF resources.

Evaluates the effectiveness of IT system owner policy and reporting measures; reports organization compliance with DoD CIO guidance to the CIO and DMA Director.

Oversees and tracks sub-component implementation, management, and assessment of Defense Cyber Workforce (DCWF) objectives.
Responsible for program/project resources, allocation plans, workforce development plans, budget forecasts, initiatives, and policies.
