Job Description

As the Head of IT/ Director, you will be responsible for overseeing IT Operations and Delivery for the US & Canada region. This critical role involves managing all IT needs to ensure high-quality service to customers, as well as managing both internal and external IT suppliers. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the IT service strategy and ensuring its alignment with broader IT and enterprise strategic plans.

The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success and has a service-oriented approach to IT. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence key stakeholders, and lead IT operations in a complex, dynamic environment requiring 24/7 support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's IT infrastructure and service delivery.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight for the operations and support of IT systems that fulfill business needs
  • Lead the development of IT Service strategy and ensure its integration with broader IT and enterprise plans
  • Conduct regular budget reviews and assist with remediation plans as required
  • Ensure effective administration of service level management and reporting processes
  • Produce timely, reliable, and accurate service reports based on SLA targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with IT leaders to understand and meet business needs cost-effectively
  • Stay current on new technologies and service management practices
  • Own the IT side of customer relationships, ensuring service expectations and SLAs are met
  • Oversee vendor and partner relationship management
  • Work with all IT teams to ensure core IT functions are reliable, stable, and efficient
  • Drive application and infrastructure problem management execution plans
  • Assist with compliance reviews and represent IT during external audits


Required Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in leading IT operations teams in complex, 24/7 support environments
  • Strong vendor management and partner relation skills
  • Excellent service management planning and execution skills
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance metrics
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills
