They have consistently grown the last 10 years.
As a Business Development you will be the primary company representative for their market in North Atlanta, Georgia. The company has been in North Atlanta for 5+ years resulting in an established market with a huge active client base within the commercial construction staffing industry. You will have 2 dedicated recruiters supporting sales efforts while being the business developer you will be 100% responsible for new business development targeting commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Utilize various contact methods and networking events to establish relationships with key decision makers within target organizations.
- Develop rates and pricing strategies to secure new business.
- Identify and communicate with key decision makers within targeted organizations.
- Provide exceptional customer service in all situations.
- Set and present sales presentations.
- Canvass, prospect, cold call, email prospects to secure meetings
- Attend networking events
- Act as a liaison between customer and recruitment staff to identify additional opportunities for increased sales.
Qualifications:
- MUST be located in North Atlanta, GA
- Must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions associated with the position
- Proven growth and leadership skills. Consistently promotes a positive culture and supports and is an example to those around them.
- Minimum 1 year experience selling blue collar or construction staffing solutions
- Willingness to adapt to new processes, adapt, and coach when necessary and asked.
- Can effectively communicate to individuals as well as a group of people in person, on video, in writing and on the phone.
- Makes positive impression on others that will enhance the company's brand and reputation
- Skilled listener
- Has a driver's license and will travel by car, or plane as required in the performance of their duties,
- Can perform work requirements outside of normal work hours, including overnight travel
- Must be physically capable of meeting documentation and data entry expectations
- Consistently brings new ideas to management on strategy for growth, thinks outside the box, and willing to accept and adapt to feedback.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and bill rates
- Comfortable walking onto construction sites wearing steel toed boots and a hard hat
- MUST be resourceful to uncover upcoming construction projects within their territory
