Role Overview:

In this entry-level Estimator role, you'll work closely with the Estimating Lead and the preconstruction team to develop cost proposals for architectural millwork and fixture projects. This is an ideal position for someone who has worked in or around preconstruction, especially in fixtures, and is ready to take on more responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in interpreting architectural and construction drawings to develop accurate cost proposals.

· Collaborate with senior estimators to evaluate labor and material costs for complex millwork and fixture installations.

· Support the management of Requests for Information (RFIs) and scheduling tasks.

· Develop your skills in advanced Excel for estimating, tracking, and project coordination.

· Help monitor project progress and contribute to documentation and reporting.

· Participate in client and team meetings, gaining valuable exposure to key stakeholders.

Preferred Background:

· Experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role within preconstruction, especially within fixtures or architectural millwork.

· Familiarity with construction drawings and basic cost estimation principles.

· Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

· Eagerness to learn and grow within the preconstruction and estimating fields.
