We are seeking a Strategic Sales Lead for our Public Health Channel who excels in business development strategies, sales prospecting, and lead management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record of motivating and guiding a sales team towards achieving and exceeding targets. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on sales acumen, and the ability to inspire and mentor team members. We are currently located in Boston's Seaport District but are in the process of transitioning to a fantastic new facility in Lynn, MA (estimated move in on Dec 2024/Jan 2025).


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to maximize their potential and drive results.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and key accounts for sales prospecting efforts.
  • Utilize various sales prospecting techniques, including email outreach, conference attendance, and customer win back strategy to generate leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to target clients' needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales, and/or proven experience in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans.
  • Understanding of sales prospecting techniques and lead generation strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools.
  • A strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
