About the role:

Green Cardigan Marketing is seeking a full-time SEO Lead Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and have a deep understanding of digital marketing and a strong background in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search performance. We are looking for someone who is a self starter with managerial experience and or experiencing leading a team.

The ideal candidate will be confident enough in their SEO skills and communication skills to present important SEO data to clients when needed.

This role involves overseeing the SEO Coordinator and Content Writer, ensuring that all SEO activities align with the overall marketing goals and deliver measurable results. Additionally, the SEO Lead Specialist will be tasked with evaluating and enhancing our current SEO processes.


Responsibilities:

● Oversee GCM SEO Strategy & revise the current strategy when and where needed

● Client on-boarding: Overseeing client onboarding

● Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and increase conversions for clients.

● Oversee the SEO Coordinator and Content Writer, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with overall SEO strategies.

● Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and new content creation.

● Perform technical SEO audits and implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices.

● Monitor and analyze SEO performance using various tools and platforms, providing regular reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to continuously improve SEO efforts.

● Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate SEO strategies with other digital marketing activities.

● Evaluate and revise the existing SEO processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

● Provide training and support to team members on SEO best practices and techniques.

● Support other projects as needed.


About You

To excel in this role, you need:

● 5+ years of relevant experience

● Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

● Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.

● Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush,

Ahrefs, Moz, etc.

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

● Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies is a plus.

● Experience in the legal industry or working with law firms is a plus.
