This role is transitional in nature, the ideal candidate will need to start as an Executive Recruiter to learn our core industries and systems working towards benchmarks to transition into a working Recruiting Manager.
Job Description:
The primary purpose of the Recruiting Manager role is to develop the recruiting teams’ skillsets and effectiveness to drive growth in recruiting fee revenue, fill rate, fill time, and customer satisfaction. Revenue growth must be accomplished by staying true to our company’s “customer first” philosophy and the Recruiting Manager must be a champion of our “do right by everyone, every time” culture.
The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the recruiting team and will be held accountable to achieving revenue and placement goals set by senior management/ownership.
Training, development and continuous performance improvement of their assigned recruiting team will be the bedrock of the success of this role and the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, train and mentor assigned recruiters
- Ensure that each recruiter and your individual team as a whole are meeting financial goals and benchmarks (fill rate, fill time, placement rate)
- Ensure that recruiters are trained in H&A procedures and industry knowledge.
- Engage with the recruiters on a regular basis to get temperature reads on their search efforts to prevent customer service issues or dips in production. (Minimally, one regularly scheduled weekly meeting with each recruiter and other meetings, as required, to ensure full awareness of each recruiter’s search efforts.)
- Provide leadership by example and through hands-on training and development to ensure that each recruiter is maximizing their opportunities and have the help they need for tough-to-fill searches.
- Create an environment of accountability and performance.
- Sit down with the recruiting team to brainstorm and implement search/recruiting strategies that will lead to placements.
- Monitor for and correct, if necessary, any recruiting practices that fall outside of the consultative & objective recruiting philosophy H&A champions.
- Keep senior management abreast on team performance and production expectations.
- Be a positive influence on the overall demeanor and attitude of the department. “Be there for your team and help them succeed.”
